Uptown Bikes is a full service bicycle shop. We repair all makes and models, and have over 30 years combined experience in our service department. Please bring your bicycle in for a no cost assesment with one of our expert mechanics. No appointment needed, all work is first come, first serve.
SPECIALITY SERVICES
Uptown Bikes specializes in wheelbuilding for heavy use applications. All wheels are hand built, in house, by a DT SWISS certified wheelbuilder. We only use DT SWISS spokes. Please stop by with any questions about building wheels you might have, we're happy to discuss options, or even give advice on building your own wheels.
We also have over fifteen years of experience working on STURMEY-ARCHER equipment, especially British-made models. We have many hard to find replacement parts for complete overhauls.
Uptown Bikes can build you the bicycle you've always wanted. We can provide framesets from SOMA and SURLY, as well as components from top manufacturers. Whether commuting, touring, or riding centuries, we have the experience to build you the right bicycle.
Note that at this time, Uptown Bikes cannot provide service to suspension systems, and can only provide limited service to hydraulic disc brake systems.
