We know how important biking is to you, it is to us too. Here are a few of our favorite riding events around Chicago.
Bike The Drive - Bike the 8 lanes and 15 miles of Chicago’s Lake Shore Drive Sunday, Memorial Day Weekend. Bank of America’s Bike the Drive benefits the Active Transportation Alliance (formerly the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation). We’ll be helping out at the north side rest-stop fixing tires and doing other fine-tunings for participants.
Critical Mass Chicago - A monthly bicycle ride to celebrate cycling and to assert cyclists’ right to the road. The idea started in San Francisco in September 1992 and quickly spread to cities all over the world. This site attempts to be the most complete guide to all Critical Mass rides around the globe. They are free and fun. All you have to do is show up with your bike.
Chicago Critical Mass - bike rides start from Daley Plaza, Dearborn & Washington at 5:30 pm on the last Friday of each month, regardless of season or weather.
North Side Critical Mass - will meet at the young Lincoln Statue on Clark, Thorndale and Ridge at 6:30pm and will depart at 7:00. Second Friday of every month.
